Walking down Elisabetta street (Via Sant’Elisabetta) you can spot yet another old church – Chiesa Santa Maria nel Gesu. It is not something wow-oh-wow, like cathedral I’m going to covered later in this blog, but it is described as one of most important gothic churches in Trapani (at least on it’s information plate). Otherwise it would be most probably passed by unnoticed.
There is no “piazza” in front, and the only “decor” left from those glorious times (15th century) it was built is entrance doors and balcony above. We did not enter the building, so no photos from there unfortunately. We will update this post after next visit there, hopefully!
